New England

The light, color, smell, and texture of a New England fall are part of my DNA. Childhood images from the backroads, trails, vistas, and more are seared into my memory. In October 2023, I returned “home” to experience fall in person for the first time in many years. The photographs in this album were taken during that trip. These scenes rekindled my childhood sense of awe of the “New England essence” so aptly expressed in her landscapes. May you find in these images a bit of the splendor, solitude, and spirit I encountered.
