Ocean/Coastal Studies

Since childhood I have had a strong connection to the ocean and as an adult have been fortunate to enjoy frequent visits to the Oregon Coast. Impressions emerging from those encounters form a large part of my work. Capturing subjects in constant motion and shifting moods challenges a photographer both to shape a composition with intention and to sense when to allow the eye and the lens to engage the moment instantaneously.
