Vintage Auto Studies

I enjoy shooting vintage autos, or more accurately, portions of those autos. My interest in these vehicles began when I was told my grandfather’s 1926 Model T would be mine. Last licensed in 1932, it now sits in my garage awaiting restoration. These vehicles embody early approaches to fusing artful design and pragmatic use. They hold hundreds of stories. My goal in concentrating on segments of the objects is to manipulate them in such a way that those stories and so many more emerge in images that may appear only tangentially reminiscent of the originals.
